Executive Director of NOSSCR Writes Commentary on Social Security Disability

Barbara Silverstone, executive director of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives wrote a commentary in The Hill on August 25. In it, Ms. Silverstone attempts to correct what she correctly identifies as mischaracterizations of the Social Security disability program, including addressing concerns in the increase in applicants and concerns about fraud in the program.
